Today Community Water Alliance is conducting a training of trainers workshop in Glen View with waterpoints committees selected from Budiriro and Glen View under the project #BeyondPeace.
The main objective of the training is to enhance waterpoint committees with knowledge and skills to manage conflicts that erupt at water points thus promoting social cohesion and coexistence of water users and committees.
This initiative is meant to build climate change resilience through solar powered borehole and drip irrigation scheme. Women empowerment and positive masculinity are being placed at the centre of climate change resilience.
Yesterday Community Water Alliance hosted a multi-stakeholder meeting held at Town House focusing on providing green solutions that will enable development of markets that are low carbon, climate resilient, resource-efficient and society-inclusive.
Community Water Alliance and Oxfam established and trained Community Health Clubs.
