Community Health Clubs have been playing an instrumental role in addressing waste, clearing illegal dump sites doted around Mbare. Mbare is an economic hub for Harare and is characterized with high human traffic which results in high volumes of waste being generated within markets, households as well as the business sector.
This initiative is meant to build climate change resilience through solar powered borehole and drip irrigation scheme. Women empowerment and positive masculinity are being placed at the centre of climate change resilience.
