Today Community Water Alliance is conducting a training of trainers workshop in Glen View with waterpoints committees selected from Budiriro and Glen View under the project #BeyondPeace.

The main objective of the training is to enhance waterpoint committees with knowledge and skills to manage conflicts that erupt at water points thus promoting social cohesion and coexistence of water users and committees.

The training also seeks to equip the community with Conflict Resolution mechanisms and Transformation skills to manage conflicts that emanate at waterpoints due to the scarcity of the precious liquid.

CWA is advocating for behaviour change thus changing the mindset of the community that resorting to violence is the only answer to resolve conflicts.

The training is also focusing on developing Social Accountability skills on planning and resource allocation, expenditure management, performance management, public integrity and oversight role at public water points.
